Review My Account I Forgot my PIN
User PIN Change Renew My Materials

Instructions for Logging In to My Library Record

Before you can use the "Review My Account," "User PIN Change," or "Renew My Materials" features shown above, you will be asked to Log In by typing your User ID and your PIN. You can find your User ID and PIN by following the instructions below:

Logging In to My Library Record


Current UNO Students, Faculty and Staff:
  • User ID: 7-digit UNO ID number + 00 (example: 123456700)
  • >>>Your UNO ID number is printed in the lower right corner of your UNO ID card.<<<
  • PIN: Click on the link "I forgot my PIN" and your password will be sent to your UNO email account.
  • Click on "User PIN Change" to establish a new PIN. Enter the default PIN in ALL CAPS.
  • Your new PIN can be 1-10 characters.
  • The changed PIN is also your PIN for the electronic databases.
  • Please make a note of your new PIN.

Sample:
User ID: 123456700
PIN: MYPIN

Alumni, LALINC, and other UNO Library Users
  • User ID: 10-Digit number printed on your UNO Library Card
  • PIN: Click on the link "I forgot my PIN" and your password will be sent to your UNO email account. If you do not have a UNO email account, please contact the Public Service Desk at 280-6355.
  • Click on "User PIN Change" to establish a new PIN. Enter the default PIN in ALL CAPS.
  • Your new PIN can be 1-10 characters.
  • Please make a note of your new PIN.

Sample:

RENEWALS

Why was my renewal blocked?

There are several reasons why you might not be able to renew checked-out items:
  1. ITEM OVERDUE/FINES OWED:
    If your items are overdue, you must bring them to the library Circulation Desk for renewal. Use the "Review My Account" feature to see when material is due, or if you owe money.
  2. HOLD PLACED ON ITEM:
    If another person has placed a hold on an item you will have to return it without renewal.
  3. END OF THE SEMESTER:
    All material is due back in to the library at the end of each semester. Renewals are not allowed beyond the last date of the semester.
  4. RESTRICTED USER:
    Certain categories of users and certain types of library material may only be renewed once, or not at all. If you have reached your renewal limit, you must return the material to the library.
